Yusukawa project
The community revitalization
project team
This good old Yuzugawa district is in danger of disappearing if things continue as they are, so in 2010, a community development organization called the "Yuzagawa Promotion Team" was formed, made up of all the residents of the Yuzugawa district.
Project-1
Farm Restaurant
Yusukawa has been a region where tomato cultivation has been popular for over 50 years. However, the area faces issues such as a declining population, an aging population, and a lack of successors to tomato farmers, so in 2010, a project team was formed with the participation of all local residents, the "Yusakawa Regional Revitalization Project Team (commonly known as the Yusukawa Promotion Squad)." This was the origin of The Lycopins. They started operating a restaurant and selling processed products. Currently, 22 local women, mainly tomato farmers in Yusukawa, are participating in the activities.
Project-2
Promotional film
A love story between a girl and a tomato, set in the Yusukawa district.
<Synopsis>
The Yusukawa district, located in the mountains of Ehime Prefecture, is a mountain village with no particular distinguishing features.
Young people are moving out to the city, and the population of the area is decreasing. Haruko, who works at the restaurant "Yusukawa" there, makes it her life's purpose to bring smiles to the faces of the people in the area with the tomato dishes she makes. One day, a new doctor, Kurose, is assigned to the clinic...
